Sinds zijn debuutplaat ‘Where There Is Life’ uit 1995, is de warme, soulvolle baritonstem van de Jamaicaanse roots-reggaezanger Luciano een vertrouwd en graag gehoord geluid in de reggae scene.
Luciano bracht al meer dan 40 albums uit, waarvan het laatste album ‘Zion Awake’ uit 2016 nog genomineerd werd voor een Grammy. En altijd trouw aan zijn boodschap, luister eens naar ‘Give Praise’ of ‘Sweep Over My Soul’ en je snapt waarom hij de bijnaam ‘The Messenger’ kreeg.
In een tijd waarin de populariteit van digital reggae, new roots en dancehall een vlucht neemt, gaan we op 29 november back to the roots met Luciano. Spiritueel, conscious en uplifting!
DJ Marco Carretta van Foundation Sound zal voor en na het concert fijne reggae tunes laten horen. Marco is mede-organisator van de succesvolle en altijd gezellige Riddim Club reggae avonden in het Platform Theater.
