Will and the People in English
Will and the People is returning to Groningen! Last year this cheerful reggae and ska band, inspired by big names such as The Police and Bob Marley, sold out the Kleine Zaal. The band was founded in 2010 and has since then rapidly conquered the hearts of the public.
The untitled debut album by Will and the People was released in 2012, containing the big summer hit ‘Lion In The Morning Sun’. That same summer the British band had their breakthrough in Holland at Pinkpop. Soon their third album is scheduled to release, which is named ‘Whistleblower’. Whether they are scheduled at a festival or performing a club show, Will and the People guarantee a party!

Will and the People komt terug naar Groningen! Vorig jaar verkocht de vrolijke reggae- en skaband, geïnspireerd door grote namen als The Police en Bob Marley, de Kleine Zaal nog uit. De band werd in 2010 opgericht en sindsdien veroveren de mannen de harten van het publiek in een rap tempo.

Castillo werd begin dit jaar in het leven geroepen door oude vrienden Tom Bradley en Nick Jekyll. Aangevuld met Rudy Burley en drummer Michael Petulla (Noah and the Whale) maken ze garagerock en doken ze in een oude WOII bunker te Londen om te werken aan hun aankomende EP ‘Wicked Ways’. Deze werd opgenomen en gemixed door Cam Blackwood (George Ezra).
